  1. Sponsor and Administration Durham Distillery (“DD”, “we”, “us”), located at 25 Mill Street, Ajax, ON L1S 2E2, administers this promotion (“Promotion”). Participating on-premise locations (“Partners”) include [list current and hoped-for locations, e.g., The Springwood (Whitby), OneTen (Whitby), etc.] Full list available at www.durhamcocktailtrail.ca. Promotion runs November 12, 2025 – January 12, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Eligibility Open to Ontario residents aged 19 or older. Void where prohibited. Excludes employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of DD, Partners, Feed the Need Durham, Durham Tourism, and their affiliates/agencies. By participating, entrants confirm eligibility and compliance with all terms.
  3. How to Participate
  • Sign up for a free digital punch card via https://www.durhamcocktailtrail.ca (“the website”).
  • Visit a Partner during the Promotion Period and purchase a featured cocktail containing a DD spirit as the primary ingredient (price set by Partner).
  • Upon purchase, scan the QR code on your card at the Partner for validation/stamp (one stamp per location per card). Location Services must be enabled for verification (disable at your risk; manual adds possible via receipt).
  • Collect 6 unique stamps from different Partners to complete the card (required number subject to update).
  • No purchase is necessary to download/register, but stamps require a qualifying purchase. This is a promotional incentive, not a contest of chance.
  1. Redemption
  • Bring your completed card to DD physical store (25 Mill Street, Ajax, ON) during business hours (Mon-Sat 11 am-6 pm; Sun 12 pm-5 pm) by January 31, 2026, to redeem a $25 DD Gift Card (“Reward”). Limit of $100 per person on total rewards.
  • The Reward is non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, redeemable only at DD physical store for DD products (subject to availability and legal restrictions).
  • Upon redemption, your card auto-resets for a new trail (eligible for another Reward) and enters you into the one-time grand prize draw (see Contest Rules).
  • For missed stamps: Email photo of receipt (showing date, Partner, and cocktail) to us@durhamdistillery.ca within 7 days; we’ll verify and add (one manual add per card max). In-person at DD also accepted.
  • Limit: One Reward per completed card; unlimited completions encouraged.
  1. Charity Contribution Partners are required to donate $1 from each qualifying cocktail sold during the Promotion Period to Feed the Need Durham as a term of their participation. DD tracks number of sales via Partner reports (due Jan 30, 2026, including per-server sales data). Total donations to this worthy charity will be announced post-Promotion.
  2. Data Collection and Privacy We collect name, location, history, email, and optional feedback/ratings for program use. See our https://durhamdistillery.ca/privacy/ for details (PIPEDA compliant). Opt-out of marketing anytime via email.
  3. Limitations and Representations
  • One active card (digital app) per person/email.
  • Stamps void if obtained fraudulently.
  • DD is not responsible for technical issues, lost cards, or Partner actions.
  • Participants must consume alcohol responsibly and arrange safe transport. Promotion promotes consumption only in moderation.
  • By participating, you release DD, Partners, and affiliates from liability for any claims arising from participation/redemption.

Updated Official Contest Rules for the $400 DE-S01 Box Draw

This is a separate random draw contest (“Contest”) tied to Promotion completion. It complies with Canada’s Criminal Code (via skill-testing question to add skill element) and Competition Act (via no-purchase-necessary method). AGCO-compliant: no inducement of excessive consumption; prize is alcohol (winner 19+ verified); one grand prize only.

Official Rules – Durham Distillery Holiday Cocktail Trail Prize Draw

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER CONTEST. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Sponsor and Administrator Durham Distillery, 25 Mill Street, Ajax, ON L1S 2E2 (“Sponsor”). Contest Period: November 12, 2025 – January 12, 2026 (“Contest Period”). Manual draw: January 20, 2026, at DD offices in Ajax, Ontario.
  2. Eligibility Ontario residents aged 19+. Excludes employees/officers/directors/immediate families of Sponsor, Partners, Feed the Need Durham, Durham Tourism, and affiliates. Limit: One entry per person.
  3. How to Enter Method 1 (Promotion-Linked): Complete a punch card (6 unique stamps via qualifying purchases) and redeem at DD physical store by January 31, 2026, for automatic entry. Method 2 (No Purchase Necessary): Mail a 50-word handwritten essay on “Why I Love Supporting Local Craft Spirits in Durham Region” to: Durham Distillery Contest, 25 Mill Street, Ajax, ON L1S 2E2. Include name, address, email, phone, and birthdate. One entry per envelope, postmarked by January 12, 2026. Online entries void except via Method 1. Entries become Sponsor’s property; not returned.
  4. Prize One (1) Grand Prize: Distiller’s Experience – Series 01 Box (two 750ml DD spirits bottles aged 1-2 years at 45% ABV, two tasting glasses; ARV $400 CAD). Prize non-transferable; must be claimed within 30 days. Winner responsible for taxes. Alcohol verification required (19+ ID at pickup).
  5. Odds and Draw Manual random draw from all eligible entries on January 20, 2026, at DD offices (witnessed internally). Odds depend on entries received. Winner notified by email/phone within 5 days; must respond within 7 days or forfeit.
  6. Winner Selection and Confirmation Potential winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (e.g., multi-step arithmetic: 12 × (5 + 7) – 18 ÷ 3 = ?) without aids. Affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance required. Prize forfeited if ineligible/unclaimed; no alternate drawn (one prize only). Public announcement on [social/website] post-confirmation (name only).
